Terms & Conditions

Bookings are made with “AABANA Beach- & Watersport Resort“ further called “AABANA”

BOOKING

  • A booking is an arrangement and can have different components such as accommodation, transportation, hotel, diving, courses, meals etc.
  • A booking becomes definite when the deposit is received by AABANA, or if AABANA confirmed a booking/reservation
  • Booking date is the date of arrival of the guest at the resort or overnight hotel arranged in the booking.
  • PAYMENT

    If no other agreement, a deposit of 1 day is immediately required following the booking. Full payment on the arrival date. Payments can be made in US Dollar(USD), Euro(EUR) or Philippine Peso(PHP). Bank charges or any cost in making telegraphic transfers should be paid by the customer. A written confirmation will be sent by AABANA when the payment is received. Deposits will be partly refunded by AABANA. Note that bank transfers to the Philippines can take up to 7 working days.

    CANCELLATION OF BOOKING

    A booking is cancelled or can be cancelled when:

      1. AABANA receives an email from the customer to cancel the booking. An email from AABANA to the customer will be sent to confirm the cancellation.

      2. AABANA has the right to cancel confirmed booking if the required payment is not met on the due date.

      3. AABANA shall not be liable for failure to carry out any booking, which are caused by the Acts of God, labor disputes, cancellations of transportation, weather conditions or any other conditions beyond its control.

    Cancellation costs:

       After Checkin, Early Checkout before the booking date
          100% cancellation fee of payed or provided to be payed Deposit
          100% cancellation fee of the total booking if no Deposit is provided· 

       Non Arrival at booking date
          100% cancellation fee of payed or provided to be payed Deposit
          100% cancellation fee of the total booking if no Deposit is provided.

       Delayed Arrival from booking date and earlier checkout from booking date
          100% cancellation fee of unused nights of payed or provided to be payed Deposit
          100% cancellation fee  of unused nights of the total booking if no Deposit is provided.

    ·  Within 48 hours before arrival date,
          100% cancellation fee of payed or provided to be payed Deposit
          100% cancellation fee of the total booking if no Deposit is provided.

    ·  3 to 7 days before arrival date
           80% cancellation fee of payed or provided to be payed Deposit
           80% cancellation fee of the total booking if no Deposit is provided

    ·  8 to 30 days before arrival
           50% cancellation fee of total booking

    ·  more than 30 days before arrival date
           25% cancellation fee of total booking

    ·  Refund for cancellation will be done within 4 weeks of cancellation date.
       if after confirmed booking/reservation no payment from the buyer has be done, the buyer has to pay the
       cancellation cost

    To avoid unnecessary risks, please secure a travel insurance that covers cancellations for accommodations in case of unforeseen events.

    ACCOMMODATION

    The rooms and cottages are of a certain standard and in a certain position in the resort. Special wishes about the accommodation will be as much as possible be granted but still subject of space availability and confirmation. When during circumstances a booked room is not available another room category will be offered at no extra costs.

    GENERAL

    *Privacy.

    To make a booking we need some guest information. This information will under no circumstances be given to a third party for commercial use and only be used for our own administration or official government requirements. Occasions beyond our control like weather circumstances, natural disasters, late arrival of the plane, late arrival of luggage, etc. which causes extra cost will not be on the expenses of AABANA. We will of course try to assist in the best possible way we can to resolve the issue.

    We would request that any complaints about any services of the resort by the guest should be made in writing as soon as the problem occurs so we can resolve the problem. Complaints by guests after the holiday will not be accepted when the complaint was not made during the holiday of the guest. We cannot be held responsible for any complaints for occasions from outside the resort although we try to assist as much as possible.

    These terms and conditions are made under the Law of the Philippines. Any dispute between AABANA and guest which cannot be solved between parties shall be handled according the Law of the Philippines.
